However, occasional spells of above-normal daytime heat cannot be ruled out, as parts of northwest India may witness intermittent temperature spikes.In contrast, minimum temperatures are expected to remain above normal, indicating warmer nights across the city. This trend could lead to some discomfort, especially during late April when summer conditions begin to intensify.The outlook also points towards a higher likelihood of heatwave days over northwest India, including Chandigarh, during the broader April-June period. While April may not see prolonged heatwave conditions, short-duration heat spells are possible.On the rainfall front, Chandigarh is likely to benefit from normal to above-normal rainfall activity during April.
