Varanasi: In a case lodged by a girl student, Lalpur-Pandeypur police arrested a coaching centre operator on charges of sexual and physical assault.Lalpur-Pandeypur police station in charge Rajiv Kumar Singh said on Wednesday that, on complaint of a girl student, a case of assault, criminal intimidation, outraging modesty of a woman and intentional insult was lodged against coaching operator Amit Kumar (28) of Sindhora. He was summoned for investigation and after the allegations levelled against him by the girl proved true, he was arrested. The girl alleged in her complaint that Kumar behaved indecently with when she attended classes at his coaching institute in Daulatpur, Pahadiya area. He started outraging her modesty and assaulting her, after which she stopped going to the coaching centre. But whenever she went to college, Kumar waylaid her and mounted pressure on her to return to the coaching centre. He even threatened to make objectionable videos of her go viral on social media and to kill her.
