Nagpur: Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis will inaugurate the XSIO Advanced Industrial & Manufacturing Park near Linga on the NH-53 Nagpur–Amravati Highway on Saturday.The park involves an investment of over ₹700 crore and is taking shape along the key industrial corridor linking Nagpur and Amravati.Ashish Agrawal, managing director of XSIO Industrial & Logistics Parks, said the project “integrates digital intelligence at the foundational level to enhance productivity, competitiveness, and long-term industrial growth.”The Linga facility incorporates AI-based building management systems, digital twin technology for real-time asset monitoring, and advanced utility networks to support high-precision manufacturing.Several ministers and senior officials, including Maharashtra industries minister Uday Samant and Nagpur district guardian minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule, are expected to attend the inauguration at 10am on Saturday.Part of XSIO’s larger ₹8,142-crore investment programme across Maharashtra, the project is expected to generate around 2,500 jobs, while the broader plan could create more than 35,000 employment opportunities statewide.Strategically located along NH-53, the park aims to strengthen Nagpur’s position as a logistics and manufacturing hub at India’s geographical centre. Its connectivity to key freight routes and industrial clusters is expected to attract advanced manufacturing and supply chain operations.
