Gorakhpur: The Chief Minister Rural Housing Scheme is turning the dream of owning a permanent house into reality for thousands of underprivileged families across villages in the Gorakhpur division. The govt has spent around Rs 219 crore on the initiative so far.Alongside, PMAY-G has also seen significant progress, with nearly 1.99 lakh houses sanctioned in the division and over 1.99 lakh completed, reflecting effective ground-level execution. The state govt has prioritised families affected by natural disasters and vulnerable communities such as Vantangia and Mushar under the CM scheme.
