Guwahati: Assam governor Laxman Prasad Acharya on Friday led the “Nation First” event at Narangi military station, underscoring the spirit of unity and collective responsibility in nation-building.Organised under the aegis of Headquarters 51 Sub Area, the event highlighted Operation Sindoor — a case study in civil–military liaison — while honouring distinguished personnel for their contributions to national service.
The Indian Army’s weapon display drew keen interest from attendees. Addressing the gathering, the governor stressed dedication and unity as pillars of national strength, defense PRO Lt Col M Rawat said.
