Patna: Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) has asked advertising agencies to submit complete details of their hoardings, unipoles and advertisements by March 1. Non-compliance will lead to removal of structures and blacklisting of the agencies concerned.PMC commissioner Yashpal Meena has asked agencies to provide specific information, including whether sites are on govt or private land, ward number, circle details, total area and agency name. Agencies must also submit precise dimensions and geographical coordinates of each installation in both soft and hard copies at the Maurya Lok Complex advertisement cell.Official records show that 54 agencies owe Rs 107 crore to the municipal body. Sources within PMC said the total outstanding amount includes Rs 79 crore as principal and Rs 33 crore as accumulated interest, of which only Rs 5 crore has been recovered.Meena said agencies failing to comply will face action under the Public Demands Recovery (PDR) Act. PMC will begin royalty collection from March 1 to prevent further revenue loss. Any undeclared structure after the deadline will be treated as illegal and removed, with financial penalties imposed.
