T’puram: As part of ‘Krishi Vaibhav 2026′, a fair of Farmer Producer Companies organized by CISSA, a three-day agricultural seminar will be held from Saturday. The seminars will be conducted at Putharikandam Maidan, focusing on various topics related to modern farming, value addition and agri-entrepreneurship.The seminars, which are open to public free of cost, will include sessions on modern cultivation methods, practical training for starting enterprises, mushroom farming, beekeeping, and other income-generating agricultural activities. On Saturday, seminars will be held on entrepreneurship opportunities and startups in the agricultural sector. Sessions scheduled for Sunday will focus on vegetable cultivation and terrace farming for food security for better yield and income. On Monday, officials from Union govt’s MSME department will speak on financial support available for farmers from financial institutions. Sessions related to agricultural insurance schemes will also be conducted on the same day.
