Ranchi: CID arrested three more persons in connection with alleged irregularities in the conduct of examinations by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). CID officers said on Friday that Hemant Verma, Pradeep Kumar Singh and Sanjay Kumar, all staffers of TSR Data Processing Private Limited (TDPL), were apprehended during the ongoing investigation.With this, the total number of arrests in the case rose to eight. CID sleuths also carried out raids at several places in Ranchi district, including two hotels, with assistance from local police.The agency also took five accused arrested earlier on remand for interrogation. They are JPSC’s former deputy examination controller Shweta Gupta, TDPL director Ramveer Singh, Md Usman, Md Ebaad and Abhay Kumar Tiwari.CID constituted an SIT to probe the case and issued a number, 9934309054, and e-mail address (complaintsjpsc-cid@jhpolice.gov.in), seeking information, documents and other relevant material from the public.
