Vadodara: A two-and-a-half-year-old boy died after being run over by a car inside the premises of Jamnabai Hospital in the old city on Wednesday morning. The incident occurred at the hospital’s parking area, where the child, identified as Nived Angari, was playing.According to police, Dr Gudiya Sinha was driving her car in the parking area when she allegedly failed to notice Nived who was on the ground. The vehicle ran over the child, causing severe head injuries. His parents rushed him to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.The Wadi police have registered an FIR against Sinha, who is employed at Jamnabai Hospital.Nived, whose family hails from Sabarkantha, is the son of a labourer.
