Kolkata: The 17th Foundation Day of Sri Sri Academy, Kolkata, recently began with meditation, followed by the sacred ‘yagna’, to seek the divine blessings of Goddess Saraswati.The day, Feb 21, was also dedicated as Staff Day, honouring the unsung heroes of SSA Kolkata, whose tireless efforts and yeoman service form the backbone of the institution.Serenity graced every corner, beautifully interwoven with moments of joy, laughter and togetherness. A thoughtfully curated programme celebrated their contributions. The admin staff and the teaching faculty joined hands to present a skit based on a story by Satyajit Ray.Songs were sung, musical chairs brought smiles to the ‘didis’ and an energetic football match for the ‘bhaiyaas’ added to the spirit of joy and celebration—standing as a small yet meaningful expression of our deep gratitude for all that they do.The unveiling of the school magazine, ‘Srikiran’, for the academic year 2025–26 added further significance to the day.
