Ranchi: Himanshu Shekhar, chief commercial inspector of Ranchi railway division, was arrested by CBI on Wednesday for taking Rs 50,000 bribe. In a statement, the CBI said Shekhar had allegedly sought 10% from the complainant for getting the latter’s pending bill of Rs 8.7 lakh cleared. The central agency stated that search was underway at residential premises and the office of the accused in Hatia in Ranchi.
