Jaipur: The Rajasthan Commissionerate for Special Persons with Disabilities asked the state law department to act on a complaint seeking disability-friendly facilities at the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal premises in Banipark, following a representation by disability rights activist Hemant Bhai Goyal.In a memorandum issued on Aug 3, the commissionerate forwarded Goyal’s complaint to the law department, cited provisions of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, and sought action as per rules. Sanitation workers in the Mithikhadi area of Limbayat in Surat Surat: As creek floodwaters receded from parts of the city early Monday after inundating several areas for nearly three days, Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) completed an extensive sanitation drive.
