New Delhi: A case of dowry death has been registered two days after a 25-year-old woman died after allegedly falling from a building in west Delhi’s Dasghara village.The woman was married to Raju Singh, who works in customer verification for a private real estate company. Hyderabad: Officials of the prison department on Wednesday said governor Shiv Pratap Shukla has granted permission for remission to 92 convicts serving life imprisonment.A source in the prison department said, following an internal scrutiny process, 103 life convicts were first identified by jail superintendents and their names were forwarded to the state govt. The government, in turn, sent the list for vetting by intelligence agencies. After this verification, a high-level committee led by the chief secretary selected 92 prisoners based on the intelligence reports.
