Panchkula: Panchkula police have arrested a suspected illegal arms supplier and seized four countrymade pistols from his possession. Police are now probing the network behind the supply of illegal weapons.DCP (crime and traffic) Amrinder Singh said the Crime Branch-1 team received specific information Saturday that Raj Kishore alias Raj, a native of Darbhanga in Bihar who is currently residing in the Pinjore area, was waiting near the Commando Complex to deliver illegal weapons.Acting on the tip-off, the police team reached the spot, surrounded the suspect and apprehended him. During a search, officers recovered four illegal countrymade pistols from his bag.A case under the Arms Act was registered at Chandimandir police station.The accused was produced before a court on Sunday, which granted the police a seven-day remand.
