T’puram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday said he could very well sense a wave lashing in favour of NDA. In an audio interaction with booth-level workers in the state, Modi urged them to make sure that they meet voters at their house at least three more times before the election on April 9. “We should win every booth. For that you should work harder now. If you are working six hours a day now, you should increase it to nine hours. If you work nine hours for the election now, you should increase the same to 12 hours. You should visit every household in your booth and tell people what difference NDA could make. You appeal to them to give NDA a chance. You bring to their notice the developments brought by govts where NDA is power. You should particularly meet mothers and sisters during home visits and appeal to them to vote for NDA,” Modi said. Select functionaries got the opportunity to talk with Modi. He asked them to explain where and how they work among people and asked them to tell what people at the ground level think about NDA. Modi said each BJP worker should be seen as Modi himself, and they should work in a dedicated manner for the welfare of people. Modi also asked the booth-level workers to chart out booth-level programmes for the next five years and wanted them to be adept about the benefits of central govt schemes in different sectors and how it all benefits people across the country. He wanted the workers to keep short videos to be shown to voters while explaining to them why and how NDA could make a difference. Modi added that the people in Kerala were fed up with LDF and UDF. “The victory of BJP in Thiruvananthapuram corporation election altered the practice. Earlier, UDF and LDF were confident of seizing power alternatively, irrespective of whatever corruption and misgovernance they do while in power. Now, there is another option. People are not just ready for a new govt. They are ready for a new system,” Modi said.
