KATIHAR: At least 25 people were injured after a bus overturned while unsuccessfully trying to avoid a collision with a car. The incident happened early on Saturday in Bihar’s Katihar district.The incident occurred on National Highway-13 near Zorabganj around 3 am when the car driver lost control of the vehicle and collided with the bus, news agency PTI reported.Police officials informed that the said bus was heading towards the Cooch Behar district of West Bengal.According to eyewitnesses, the bus overturned while attempting to avoid the collision.“The 25 injured were brought to the Kodha Primary Health Centre. While 10 were found to be in stable condition, 15 are in serious condition and have been referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Purnia,” medical officer Vineet Kumar said.(With agency inputs)
