Patna: The Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC) will organise Sahyog Shivir support camps across its various circles on June 17 to address public grievances. The camps will be held at Khajpura community hall (New Capital circle), RS Darbar community hall (Patliputra circle), Dasratha community hall (Kankarbagh circle), Kadamkuan community hall (Bankipur circle), Gulzarbagh Stadium (Azimabad circle) and Tourist Facilitation Centre (Patna City circle).According to PMC released on Friday, the corporation is prioritising the disposal of complaints within 10 days. As of Thursday, 463 applications had been received through the Sahyog portal, of which 452 were resolved, registering a disposal rate of over 98%.Municipal officials said pending cases are being closely monitored to ensure timely resolution. Residents have been urged to make use of the camps to strengthen engagement between the administration and the public.Organised following a directive from the chief minister, the camps provide a platform for citizens to submit complaints and suggestions related to municipal services as well as issues concerning other govt departments. The camps are held on the first and third Tuesday of every month to reduce the need for citizens to visit multiple govt offices. Each application submitted at the camp is uploaded to the state’s Sahyog portal and assigned a unique reference number, enabling applicants to track the status of their grievances online or at subsequent camps. Citizens can also register complaints from home through the online portal.Meanwhile, the Patna district administration will organise a two-day block cooperation-cum-public welfare camp across all 23 blocks on June 17 and 18 to streamline the delivery of govt services.Officials said nearly 91% of the around 11,000 applications received across 48 departments through the district’s support portal have already been resolved.
