Patna: Acting on the instructions of chief minister Samrat Choudhary, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Friday moved to speed up construction of proposed strong rooms and examination buildings in 29 districts, the chief minister’s office (CMO) said.Administrative approval has been granted in the first phase for 12 districts, where the buildings will be constructed on plots measuring 1 to 1.5 acres on the basis of technically approved estimates. The CMO said the facilities will strengthen examination infrastructure, ensure secure storage of question papers and other essential materials for BSEB examinations, and improve arrangements for conducting malpractice-free tests.An estimated Rs 33.07 crore has been provided for the proposed strong rooms and examination buildings across 29 districts. The 12 approved first-phase locations are Shri Shankar Uchch Madhyamik Vidyalaya (+2) Vidyalaya Takiya, Sasaram, Rohtas; +2 Shri Dheranath Mahadev Uchch Vidyalaya, Sharma, Ramgarh Chowk, Lakhisarai; Rajkiya Buniyadi Vidyalaya, Vishnupur, Begusarai; Madhya Vidyalaya, Bariyarpur, Dumra, Sitamarhi; PM Shri Zila School, Motihari; Adarsh Uchch Vidyalaya, Sarai, Bhagwanpur, Vaishali; U.M.V., Ratwar, Bhabhua, Kaimur; R.D.S. +2 Vidyalaya, Rajgir, Nalanda; +2 Uchch Vidyalaya, Jamui bazaar, Jamui; Darshan Sah Mahavidyalaya, Katihar; Kanhai Inter Vidyalaya, Nawada; and Bhupendra Narayan Mandal Vishwavidyalaya Madhepura Parisar.
