Patna: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) on Tuesday declared the results of the fifth and final Competency Examination, 2026, conducted for local body teachers working in Classes I to XII. With the declaration of the fifth examination results, the state has completed all five competency tests conducted to grant state employee status to eligible local body teachers.Declaring the result here, Board chairperson Thiyagarajan SM said a total of 14,512 teachers, including 6,559 men and 7,953 women, appeared for the examination held from June 5 to June 8. Of them, 4,353 candidates qualified, taking the overall pass percentage to 30%, he said.Among category-wise results, the chairperson said that 3,868 of the 13,235 candidates from classes I to V qualified, recording a pass percentage of 29.23%. “In the classes VI to VIII category, 313 out of 781 teachers cleared the examination (40.08%). For classes IX and X, 122 of the 367 candidates qualified (33.24%), while 50 of the 129 candidates in the classes XI and XII category passed the examination, registering a success rate of 38.76%,” Thiyagrajan said.
