Bengaluru: A quarrel turned fatal when a security guard allegedly murdered his wife by slitting her throat at their rented house in Bilekahalli, south Bengaluru, Sunday night.The victim, Rangamma, 45, was a housekeeping staffer. Her husband Nagaraju, 50, was an alcoholic and frequently argued with her over trivial issues, police said. Around 8.30pm Sunday, neighbours heard them arguing and the noise suddenly stopped around 9.30pm. When they knocked on the couple’s door, they found Rangamma lying on the floor in a pool of blood with her throat slit and Nagaraju missing.Neighbours alerted one of the couple’s sons, who rushed to the house and informed police. Mico Layout cops tracked down and arrested Nagaraju Monday. During interrogation, he confessed to have attacked Rangamma with a knife in a fit of rage following the argument.
