BENGALURU: An occupant of a Jaguar car and staffers at a fuel station had a close shave when the car rammed into the fuel station and caused a massive fire at Attibele in Bengaluru Urban district late Wednesday night.According to reports, the car was being driven by Sanjay, who was accompanied by a female friend. Sanjay entered the station and was allegedly reversing the car negligently when it hit a staffer, Guddu Kumar, and then rammed into one of the fuel dispensers.As the fire broke out, Sanjay and his friend ran to safety. Guddu Kumar sustained burn injuries to his legs and is undergoing treatment at a hospital.Three fire tenders were pressed into service, and the fire was brought under control after about an hour. Police said the situation could have been worse if the fire had spread to the underground tanks storing fuel.
