Chandigarh: Leader of opposition Partap Singh Bajwa on Wednesday alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) govt in Punjab is “falling like a house of cards” and claimed that a recent closed-door meeting of party leaders reflects growing instability within its ranks.Bajwa said chief minister Bhagwant Mann deliberately chose to convene a closed-door meeting at the PAP Complex in Jalandhar to ensure complete secrecy and prevent any information from leaking into the public. He added that holding a political meeting inside a police complex also sends a subtle but strong message of intimidation to party leaders who have been raising questions about the govt’s functioning.“Such a choice of venue is not coincidental. It is a calculated attempt to both hide internal cracks and create pressure on dissenting voices within the party to fall in line,” Bajwa said.He alleged that several AAP leaders have been expressing unease over decision-making processes, lack of consultation, and their marginalisation within the party structure. 1MSID:: 130307435 413 |
