Times News NetworkKanpur: A cyber crime accused Omkar Yadav alias Rajveer Singh’s bail was rejected on Monday. wThe police has charged him under section 319(2)/ 318( 4) / 338/336(3) /340( 2) /3( 5)/61( 2) BNS and 66 C/66D I T act.The presiding judge in her order observed that Omkar Yadav and other co accused lured the people promising them of government subsidy and obtained their Aadhar Card, Pan cards and used them in opening bank accounts in different banks.They used to open account with the collusion of bank employees after registering a bogus firm. There after those accounts were used in transaction of cyber fraud money such as digital arrest. With the help of co accused Anchit Goel he opened an account in the name of M/s Rajaram Traders in Agra and transacted a sum of Rs 54 crore The accused had been named in FIR and several aadhar cards were recovered from his possession. As many as 78 complaints of cyber fraud were registered against him in different states and one in Maharashtra.The accused in his bail application had claimed that he was innocent and police had fabricated him.
