Vadodara: Residents of Jobantekri village on the outskirts of the city got an unexpected visitor on Monday night. A baby crocodile was spotted crawling around on the road by the locals who shot videos of the reptile.The crocodile was seen running across the road and trying to find a place to hide. The locals informed the forest department and urged officials to rescue it. Residents informed that the reptile is still at large.With the city receiving rains, water level in most ponds and Vishwamitri river, which is home to a large number of crocodiles, has gone up. Over the last few days, many crocodiles that are migrating from one water body to another have been spotted in and around the city.
