Patna: A 25-year-old man, Avinash Kumar, allegedly died by suicide by hanging himself in Rosera area of Samastipur district on Tuesday. He recorded a 55-second video before his death, appearing distressed with a red scarf around his neck, later used in the act. Family members said he had been emotionally disturbed since his wife died by suicide two months ago following a domestic dispute triggered by public taunts over her alleged extra-marital affair. Thiruvananthapuram: The state govt has amended the rules to unify the operating hours of bar hotels across Kerala, ending the differential timing that was in force between notified tourism centres and non-tourism areas. With the amendment, all bar hotels in the state can function from 10am to 12 midnight. The amendment was notified, bringing the revised norms into effect.
