Mangaluru: Home minister G Parameshwara said efforts are on to shift the district prison in Mangaluru to Bantwal taluk at the earliest. Mysuru: Mysuru City traffic police seized 378 altered and defective silencers that caused noise pollution and caused trouble to fellow road users, especially senior citizens, during a special enforcement drive conducted across key traffic corridors and residential pockets since Dec 2025.The altered silencers were removed from the bikes and destroyed on Monday. Noida: A bike taxi driver was allegedly attacked and robbed by three men in Bisrakh on Sunday. The driver was travelling from Galaxy Chowk towards Lal Kuan when the men on a motorcycle stopped him near JM International School. Lucknow: Three people were killed when a dumper truck loaded with gravel collided head-on with a pickup vehicle near Pure Badhai village in Rae Bareli on Tuesday.The deceased were identified as Rohit Kumar (25), Vipin Saroj (35), and Akhilesh Saroj (44). They were travelling from Jaunpur to Delhi in pickup van when a dumper, carrying gravel from Kabrai to Rae Bareli, hit them. Patna: The East Central Railway (ECR) on Tuesday announced nine more pairs of special trains, taking the total number of such trains to 20, for the convenience of passengers travelling to their homes to celebrate Holi.
