Mumbai: As much as 34% of the approximately 4,100 million litres per day (MLD) of water supplied to Mumbai is currently lost as non-revenue water (NRW) through leakage, theft and other distribution losses, according to BMC. Ahmedabad: A software update on a mobile phone was followed by the disappearance of several applications and the unauthorised transfer of Rs 1.6 lakh from the bank account of a Memco resident, police said.The victim, Diwansingh Kori, a 40-year-old loading-rickshaw driver, approached Shaherkotda police after discovering that multiple transactions had been made through his Google Pay account without his knowledge.
