Kanpur: Two children were killed and their father was injured when a wall of their kutcha house collapsed in Jarsen village in Musanagar, Kanpur Dehat, late on Wednesday night. The family was sleeping when the incident occurred.Neighbours rushed to the site after hearing the screams and pulled the family from the debris. However, Palak (7) and her brother Lavish (3) had died by then and their father, Mukesh, was admitted to hospital. Their mother, Sangeeta, survived. Nagpur: A 48-year-old cloth trader was allegedly assaulted at his shop within Tehsil police station limits after he failed to clear a pending cricket betting amount of Rs50,000, police said. Vishnukant Agarwal told Tehsil police that he had been placing bets with one Vicky Mishra, a resident of Panjra on Koradi Road.Agarwal claimed he had already paid Rs6 lakh to the bookie.
