Agartala: A 45-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by a mob in Tripura’s Khowai district on Wednesday after being suspected of attempting to steal cattle, police said.The incident took place in Bagber locality under Kalyanpur police station following a pre-dawn alert by a villager about a suspected cattle theft attempt.The victim, Jalil Rahman, a resident of Ghilatali bazaar, was allegedly confronted and severely assaulted by a group of people.
