HYDERABAD: Telangana high court on Tuesday directed the health and medical department to file a detailed affidavit on the action taken against the alleged indiscriminate sale of medical termination of pregnancy (MTP) kits without prescriptions or the supervision of registered medical practitioners.The division bench passed the direction while hearing a PIL filed by a registered medical practitioner, Prabhu Kumar. Ahmedabad: Gujarat’s revenue from State Goods and Services Tax (SGST) rose 28% year-on-year to Rs 8,312 crore in Aug 2026, compared with Rs 6,470 crore in Aug 2025.
