Dhubri: Authorities have served eviction notices on nearly 1,000 families allegedly occupying govt land in Gauripur Revenue Circle.Residents of Alamganj Part-7 and Part-9 have been directed to vacate the land if they lack authorisation, or submit valid ownership documents to the Dhubri district commissioner’s office by July 28.The proposed eviction covers nearly 1,500 bighas of govt khas land.
