Gaya: Gaya: Magadh University’s Affiliation and New Teaching Programme Committee on Saturday granted temporary affiliation to 11 colleges and permanent affiliation to two institutions for vocational undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the 2026-30 academic session, while proposals from 22 colleges were either rejected or not considered.According to a university press release, the committee reviewed 43 applications submitted by various institutions through the state higher education department’s online portal.Applications from 11 colleges were rejected for failing to meet the norms and parameters prescribed by the department. Proposals from another 11 institutions were not considered as they had not deposited the mandatory inspection fee, preventing the committee from conducting inspections.The affiliations were granted for courses such as bachelor of business management (BBM), bachelor of computer applications (BCA), bachelor of library and information science (BLIS), bachelor of legislative law (LLB), master of computer applications (MCA) and master of business administration (MBA).The committee also reviewed a proposal from a college seeking permanent affiliation for arts courses and fresh affiliation to introduce science stream programmes. It approved proposals related to new affiliations as well as the extension and renewal of existing temporary affiliations at various institutions.Acting vice-chancellor Dilip Kumar Keshari chaired the meeting. Registrar Binod Kumar Mangalam, deans of various faculties and other committee members were also present.
