Hyderabad: The Telangana high court has reduced the costs imposed on HYDRAA from ₹50,000 to ₹10,000 in three writ appeals related to property disputes arising from notices issued by the agency.A division bench of Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and Justice GM Mohiuddin passed the order while hearing HYDRAA’s appeals against directions of a single judge in petitions alleging dispossession following HYDRAA notices.The single judge had imposed ₹50,000 costs after noting repeated adjournments and failure to file counter-affidavits for over a year. Chennai: AIADMK MLA and its assembly whip Agri S S Krishnamurthy has moved Madras high court challenging the amendment made to the resolution passed in Tamil Nadu assembly opposing Karnataka’s proposed construction of a dam in Mekedatu. Kanpur: Two youths were killed and another sustained serious injuries after a speeding pickup collided head-on with a dumper on the Bundelkhand Expressway under the Auraiya Sadar Kotwali area on Thursday.According to police, both deceased, Shabeed and Nasheer, were residents of Konch in Jalaun district.
