Vadodara: A four-year-old girl was killed in a leopard attack in Bodeli taluka of Chhota Udepur district on Wednesday night. Kollam: A 68-year-old man was gored to death by a wild gaur on Kollam–Shencottah interstate highway near Kulathupuzha early on Thursday. The deceased was Basheer, a resident of Kunnilpurath.Kulathupuzha Police said the attack occurred around 6am when Basheer stepped out of his house and was walking along the highway. Kolkata: The real estate industry in Kolkata has urged the state govt to lift the embargo on high-rise construction projects immediately, arguing that the audit of projects in the city and adjoining districts can continue alongside regulated work at sites.Developers said they are prepared to submit formal undertakings confirming compliance with all statutory, structural and safety requirements so that stalled projects can restart without waiting indefinitely for clearances.
