Bhubaneswar: The Odisha assembly monsoon session was adjourned sine die on Monday, five days ahead of its scheduled conclusion on Oct 3. The session, which began on Sept 22, had only five working days. During the brief sitting, the House passed four Bills, but proceedings were frequently disrupted by opposition protests over the amended MMDR Act and errors in school textbooks.
