Guwahati: Assam has vaccinated over three lakh eligible girls under its HPV vaccination campaign, covering nearly 93% of its target.Health officials said the state aims to achieve 100% coverage through intensified district-level efforts focused on reaching the remaining beneficiaries.The progress was reviewed at a two-day state-level review-cum-orientation meeting on HPV vaccination and routine immunisation, held in Guwahati on Monday and Tuesday. Organised by the Directorate of Health Services (FW), Assam, the meeting brought together district officials and health teams from all 35 districts to assess coverage and address implementation challenges.The campaign targets 3.27 lakh beneficiaries and is being implemented by the health and family welfare department, DHS (FW) and NHM Assam through designated govt health facilities.The meeting also reviewed routine immunisation services, with the state calling for improved coverage and timely vaccination of eligible beneficiaries.
