An FIR was registered against an ASHA worker following the death of a pregnant woman who died after allegedly being administered wrong injection in Aata village under the limits of Phulpur police station on Feb 12, police said. A senior police official said: “As per the family members, the woman developed some pregnancy-related complications on Feb 11. She was treated by an ASHA worker, but the woman died on Feb 12. The family members accused the ASHA worker of injecting the wrong injection that led to her death.” Cops said the body was sent for postmortem and the ASHA worker would soon be called for questioning.
