Srinagar, June 27:- The Apni Party on Saturday conducted its organisational elections in Lolab, Kupwara, electing a new team of office bearers as part of the party’s ongoing internal polls.
Addressing a workers’ convention, the party’s Chief Coordinator and Returning Officer Abdul Majeed Padder said the leadership was committed to fostering a democratic culture within the organisation by ensuring accountability and electing office bearers through a transparent and democratic process.
Padder urged party workers to further strengthen the party cadre in their respective areas and remain closely connected with the people at the grassroots.
During the convention, Feroz Ahmad Ganai was elected as Zonal President for Lolab Constituency, Mohammad Amin Dar as Zonal Vice President, Mohammad Maqbool Najar, Arshid Ahmad Bhat, Bashir Ahmad Bhat and Ghulam Mohammad Mir as Block Presidents, Abdul Rashid Mir as Block Vice President (Wavoora), and Feroz Ahmad Dar as Youth Block President for Chandigam, among others.
The convention was attended by several senior party leaders, including Senior Vice President Ghulam Hassan Mir, Provincial President Mohammad Ashraf Mir, District President Kupwara Raja Manzoor, Spokesperson Ishrat Bhat, Provincial Secretary Abdul Rashid Bhat and other office bearers.
