Patna: Students of classes IX to XII in Bihar must obtain an Apaar (automated permanent academic account registry) ID to register for board examinations with the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) directing authorities to ensure all eligible students are covered by June 30.In a letter issued to district education officers on Saturday, BSEB secretary Pramod Kumar directed them to complete the generation of Apaar IDs before the deadline to ensure that no student is deprived of registration for matriculation or intermediate examinations.The move follows directions from the Union education ministry, which has fixed June 30 as the deadline for generating Apaar IDs for all school students. The Bihar Education Project Council has also made the Apaar ID and the school’s UDISE code mandatory for registration of students in Classes IX to XII.Students without an Apaar ID will not be able to complete board examination registration.
