New Delhi: Special cell of Delhi Police has arrested another accused in connection with the kidnapping and murder of a businessman, whose body parts were recovered from a canal in Mathura in Feb.The accused has been identified as Neeraj (27), who was apprehended from Jhajjar in Haryana. During interrogation, Neeraj allegedly disclosed that he, along with his associates Bhupender, Suraj alias Happy, Balram, and Rakhi, had held hostage Anurup Gupta, who operated a canteen at Chhattisgarh House in New Delhi.According to police, Gupta was lured to a flat in Matiala, Dwarka, by Rakhi. Upon his arrival, he was restrained, robbed of his jewellery, and pressured to arrange money. Investigators said the accused later killed him and disposed of the body parts in the Yamuna River near Vrindavan.Police added that Neeraj had been working in a factory near his native village before his arrest. Police had arrested Happy, Bhupender, Balram and Rakhi.
