Akola: A head constable was injured after a round blast during practice at the Patur police firing range in Akola on Monday. The incident occurred when head constable, Rajkumar Thakre, attached to Akola police headquarters, was trying to remove a plastic bullet stuck inside the gun’s barrel. The blast left Thakre’s three fingers badly injured, reports Dhananjay Sable.
