Ahmedabad: The anti-narcotics task force of CID Crime and Railways seized narcotic substances and liquor worth Rs 18 lakh after raiding a flat at Aarohi Viviana Apartments in Bopal. One person has been arrested.Officials said the Ahmedabad Zone ANTF team acted on specific intelligence about illegal storage of drugs at the residence and carried out a search under the supervision of senior officers. During the raid, the team recovered 102.5 grams of methamphetamine, 46.6 grams of hybrid marijuana and 8.8 grams of cocaine, allegedly stored for distribution. The officials also seized six bottles of Indian-made foreign liquor, 24 beer tins and four mobile phones from the flat. The accused has been identified as a resident of the apartment complex and originally from Rajkot. Four suspects in the case are at large.A case has been registered under the NDPS Act and the Prohibition Act. Further investigation has been handed over to Bopal police to trace the source of the seized narcotics and liquor.
