Ahmedabad: A thief allegedly broke into the medical store at Diva Women Hospital in Thaltej and fled with Rs 99,000 in cash. Vastrapur police have registered a theft case.According to a complaint filed by Dr Harshil Mehta, around 2am on Sunday, an unidentified person entered the hospital through a window. The intruder made his way to the medical store and broke open the lock of a drawer using a pair of scissors. He then took the cash kept in the drawer and escaped.The hospital staff later checked the CCTV footage, which showed a masked man entering the premises and stealing cash.
