Nashik: CM Devendra Fadnavis on Sunday criticised Akhil Bharatiya Andhashraddha Nirmulan Samiti founder and social activist Shyam Manav for his remark against former CJI Bhushan Gavai, calling it an “attempt to remain in the limelight”.Questioning Gavai’s recent visit to Bageshwar Dham to meet its head, Dhirendra Shastri, Manav had said the former CJI should refrain from invoking the name of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar. Fadnavis questioned Manav’s authority to pass such judgements. “Who has given him this right?” He alleged that Manav makes controversial statements purely for publicity. —Tushar Pawar
