Mumbai: Shiv Sena (UBT) MLA Aaditya Thackeray on Sunday slammed BMC’s move to privatise its open school plots for a 30-year period, saying most of the private players would be builders. He said the civic body should, instead, take back schools and plots “that have been captured by private institutes”. BJP corporator Rohan Rathod had earlier raised objections to the plan. TNN
