Kanpur: An action plan for construction of roads and bridges in Kanpur was finalised in a meeting virtually chaired by chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday.Detailed discussions were held on the ongoing development works and proposed road and bridge construction projects in the district.District magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh sought information about the progress of various projects from the concerned officials and directed that Public Works department work be completed in a time-bound manner while adhering to prescribed standards and quality.Public representatives raised the problems and requirements related to projects in their respective areas. Officials said that action plans were being finalised to accelerate the development work so that road and bridge construction could be carried out at a faster pace.Ghatampur Assembly constituency MLA Saroj Kureel along with the DM, CDO, PWD officials and other public representatives, were present at the meeting.
