Hazaribag: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Thursday arrested the head clerk of the Chatra SDO office for allegedly accepting a bribe to prepare a pending judgment in a land dispute case.The accused, Basudev Ram, was caught during a trap operation laid on the basis of a complaint filed by Vilas Yadav of Hunterganj. Yadav alleged that Ram had demanded money for writing the judgment in a pending land dispute matter.ACB SP Arif Ekram said, “Following verification of the complaint, Ram was caught red-handed while accepting the bribe.” After completing legal formalities, the ACB team took Ram into custody for further action.
