Vadodara: Two students were injured after activists of the ABVP and NSUI allegedly clashed at the Faculty of Science of the Maharaja Sayajirao University (MSU) on Tuesday following a dispute over a WhatsApp group. Videos of the scuffle went viral on social media.Sources said the clash broke out near the Geology Department after an argument between members of the rival student organisations escalated into a physical fight. Two students who were injured were shifted to hospital for treatment.Sources stated that the dispute began after a WhatsApp group comprising students from both organisations was created without the knowledge of some student leaders. An argument over the group soon turned violent, with members of the two organisations allegedly assaulting each other.The incident triggered tension on the campus and raised fresh concerns over recurring clashes between rival student groups at the university.
