Vadodara: A 19-year-old was allegedly stabbed to death by a group of nine men over a financial dispute in city’s Kishanwadi area late on Monday night.The victim, identified as Sumit Vanzara, sustained multiple stab wounds and succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at a hospital.Police said Vanzara had an ongoing dispute with the accused over Rs 1 lakh, which had led to frequent arguments between the two sides over the past few days.According to police, the accused allegedly gathered in Kishanwadi on Monday night and confronted Vanzara. After a heated exchange, they assaulted him, with three of the accused allegedly stabbing him with sharp weapons. Hearing the commotion, Vanzara’s family members rushed to his aid but were also assaulted while trying to intervene. Locals alerted the police, following which Vanzara was rushed to a hospital.The Bapod police have registered a case of murder and arrested all the accused allegedly involved in the killing.
