Prayagraj: The doctors associated with the Allahabad Medical Association (AMA) on Sunday organised a free medical camp in the underdeveloped village of Bariari (Babuganj Market, Phulpur), as part of the ongoing series- ‘Aao Gaon Chalen’.The team conducted medical examinations of 450 patients, including hemoglobin levels, blood sugar, lung capacity (PFT), and other parameters.President (AMA) Dr Ashok Kumar Mishra, distributed free notebooks and pens to underprivileged children, as well as sarees to rural women and clothing to the men.The team of doctors included Dr Shardul Singh, Dr. Ashutosh Gupta, Dr. Subodh Jain, Dr. Ashok Agarwal, Dr. J.V. Rai, Dr. Subhash Chandra Verma, Dr. Rajesh Maurya, Dr. Anoop Chauhan, Dr. Pratibha Sahay, Dr. Anurag Verma, Dr. Anubha Srivastava, Dr. Vinita Mishra, Dr. B.K. Mishra, Dr. Varsha Agarwal, Dr. K.K. Singh, Dr. Kachnar Verma, Dr Gaurav Agarwal and others. It may be mentioned here that the AMA under its social work campaign, had a meeting on March 29, with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who highly praised the efforts and asked the doctors to expand it and the association readily accepted.Subhash Yadav, principal of Bariari School, expressed his gratitude to AMA for conducting the camp and for undertaking social work in Bariari village and the surrounding rural areas. , while also assuring the association of his full cooperation in organizing such camps in the future.
